Meeting called to order by President Melba Riel at 10:45 am.
Those in attendance: Melba Riel, Corinne Olsen, Anita Raddatz, Cheryl Bartholomew
Discussed items to be put on May 9th 4-H Council meeting agenda:
1. Do pledge of allegiance and 4-H pledge.
2. Installation of new ambassadors; recognition of outgoing Ambassadors
3. Discuss previous council meetings minutes and vote to approve them.
4. Financial report-Anita
5. Executive Team meeting summary: discuss in council meeting any items discussed in Executive Team meeting that are of importance to the council.
6. Reports:
a. Nominations/elections committee: (Karen)
b. YLT/Ambassadors: New regional ambassadors chosen-Steven Olsen, Sarah Bartholomew, Brent Watson
New county ambassadors-Calan Olsen (can choose to be regional ambassador if he desires), Brandon Hveem
Changed deadline for applications to the first Monday in April.
Anita & Melba will meet together to write a letter to the ambassadors to tell them they have been selected. They will be put in on May 9th. Cheryl and Anita are working on the induction and what each ambassador will receive. Invitations need to be sent to ingoing and outgoing ambassadors.
c. Service- Rainsticks distribution
d. Expansion & Review-Anita is sending a survey on first of May by email to all enrolled leaders. Surveys due at the end of May.

Discussed need to revise the scholarship application. Will discuss at June meeting. Debbie Lambson will send letters with new letterhead to the recipients (see attached) with Melba’s signature. Team voted unanimously to accept proposed letter with motion 1-Cheryl and motion 2-Corinne
